Agreed, the limits from the previous arena should not extend into a completely different battle-ground.

There should be two different time limits for each orange and blue arenas.

I like this idea, ive found myself in the same situations that larry described.

I say increase the time limit per Arena.
:huh Shoud be decreased to 30min at most.

It's not a hijack if your talking about the same EXACT topic.  You're just pissy because he happens to disagree with you.  This isn't North Korea, people are entitled to think different then you.

BARF.  Horrible idea for all the reasons stated in the other thread.  Don't hijack someones unrelated thread.

Unrelated................ Riiiiiiiiiiiight.

Pick a country and stay with it.  If you so desire to hop from one country to the next, do so at tour reset time.

There is always a "fight" going on somewhere.  Go find it.

To hop from one country to the next earns you a title probably not well received.

Not always. Especially when you fly at non-peak times with low player numbers, there are often big inbalances and very one-sided fights. Sometimes 2 countries dogpile on the 3rd one... and i'm not keen on being one of 12 greens chasing that poor lone red one ;)
I'm looking for interesting battles - I like to defend and I prefer the red darbar being bigger than the green one. If those conditions aren't met, I consider a short time hop over the fence.

And If you fly in EW arena.. very often (or better: almost always) the numbers are distributed like 12-3-0. Switching is almost mandatory for me then. In that case the 1 hour limit is even too long for me, because very very often when I switch to a completely outnumbered (in EW that means: 0) side, the "horde" stops their attack immediately and go to attack that other country. And I'm stuck, they are capturing bases unopposed on the other side, no battle in the whole arena at all.

Would that necessitate splitting the scoring between the two LW arenas?  Trying to remember if you could be on different countries in the EW/MW arenas before they had their scores split from the LWAs, and am coming up blank.

Just trying to figure out a reason it hasn't been done already . . .

Don't think so. Once time limit on switch was identical on all MA's, including EW & MW. Both those two arenas were excluded from this long before getting their own scoring.

I always go to the side with the lowest numbers. There may always be a "fight" going on but I for one don't like flying with a horde. Titling anyone a spy because they try to help the country with the disadvantage shows that you are a simple minded human being and I pity you for that.

There is nothing wrong with switching countries except in the eyes of the "war winners" who think everyone is out to get them.

Forget some, it'll be most, sadly.  This is a really tough topic.  I appreciate the idea of a "good fights" but at the same time, when all of the 68 Lightning Lancers are Knit.... Except one of them who is Bish...... Do you really expect anybody to think that single Bish 68 is looking for a good fight?  No, me neither.  (BTW.... This particular example happened Monday Night)  Certainly sound more along the spy lines from here.

Some people want to have fun, it's their $14 after all. No, it doesn't sound like a spy to me. Sounds like someone got tired of flying with the side their squaddies were on.

You do realize it's hypothetical? You don't actually know if he was doing the so called, "spying" or if he was having fun playing with someone else at the time. Of course you would know his attitude better since I've never met the individual nor have I tasted the MA atmosphere for over 3 years now.
