SSC aero is the fastest production car...and it's American.he SSC Aero is an American-built mid-engine sports car by Shelby SuperCars. Its higher-performance limited production version, the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, is currently the fastest production car in the world, with a fastest recorded speed of 413 km/h (257 mph). This speed was reportedly achieved during tests on September 13, 2007 in West Richland, Washington, United States and verified by Guinness World Records on October 9, 2007.How does that crow taste...need salt?
Most Euro cars are working with fours or sixes. There are some high end units that get eights or twelves. Did Lambo ever actually do any real racing? Ferraris are ok but for the most part have small displacement 12s. Not that I"d not love to have any of em but the the Euro snobbery I see and hear just irritating. I'm just sayin, huge American V8s rule and when properly applied are the equal of anything the world has to offer.
Its not it,huge v8's is the only way to generate any competitive horsepower for American auto industry(one of the reasons why its in pooper now).Try comparing displacement, see how much power snubbing Euros can get out of equal size US's engine.
McLaren f115 years later, twice as much horsepower,"only"17 mph faster. Its about time eh
When they can generate 7,000 - 8,500 horsepower from 500 c.i.d., get back to me.
Hello, physics and math much? Drag :: (velocity)^2 ring a bell? Even that's only part of the story.
You mean one of those "rebuild after every run engines"?
Are there any other kind?
