Are we supposed to be reminded of someone whose name IRL was Pieper?
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

<S> Pieper  I quit drinking the 23 of  December.  25 years of binging a couple nights a week put me in this position too many times.  I hope you find the strength to quit....some of us aren't wired to stop after a reasonable amount...please don't take this as criticism, it is hope.

I can't begin to tell you how great it is to hear that SR. In my own way, I was worried about you, and I have always wanted to make a "comment" but didn't because I really don't "know" or "knew" you enough to go that far and if the "comment" would be taken as a gesture of concern. It's a touchy subject at best.

It's a tough "row to hoe" ... but the rewards are so worth it ... god bless and all the best.

Skyrock....

My very first concious meeting with an alcohol addiction was with my 7th Grade Social Studies teacher. He was a fantastic individual who made the past come to life in the classroom...until his Father died...and I saw him once take a swig after class...and I really didn't understand it...and he then disappeared from our school. That summer, I found that he only lived 3 blocks from me, and I went to visit him and found that Teachers are really something other than what students think they are.

<S> to Mr. Silverthorn who first taught me about life's addictions, and the saddness that can change lives.  <S> to you, SkyRock, for admitting yours.

I made a mistake a couple of days ago, and I already regret it. I was fighting a guy, and all he would do is pick HO and run. So I asked him to DA, and he tells me to up a spit5, a plane that he flys more often than me, and probably can beat me in it. I refused telling him to pick a diffrent spit, so he picks a spixteen. Another plane, that he flys more often than me. So he kills me twice and he starts bragging about it, no big deal. I asked him to fly a plane that I like to fly, then he told me that if I killed him in the MA or DA, then I would get to fly the plane that I want to fly. That's when I told him to go f*** himself and he can take the deal and shove it up his a**. I squelched him, and my life went.

I kind of feel bad about it now, knowing that I shouldn't have done it, but at the time, like most people who are angry, they feel, that they are right. So I just want to aplogize to the guy that I got pizzed off at, I know that you read the forums. But like I said buddy, you get no respect from me, you didn't give me any, so I'm not giving you any.

Can't say I ever been there at least to that level. But I have sure eaten crow before. Much more than I like to admit. Let the healing begin.
