Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Too many pieces still on that plane for it to be Corky.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Over the sqawk box he said it must have rained as the tarmac was shiney. Next we heard him ask if we had installed scuba gear in the hatch yet....

I will admit that I did bounce my first touch and go, on my first solo while flying a Piper Warrior II back in 1977.  But I never did auger N3332Q :)

know what's funny? my first solo, first landing is probably the best landing i've ever had. they're decent now, but none feel as good as that very first landing.
i did it in a cessna 172 N46FW. was a 1977(i think) N model. back then, i stil used to use all 40 degrees of flaps to land,,,,till i found out newer cessnas only have 30 degrees. i never use more than 30 degres now......in heavier crosswinds, only 20.

Still a wannabe solo with hours on many aircraft :D
Anyway, I can confirm that AH has helped me a lot with some of the maneuvers, so that some of the pilots I flew with actually think I am one too  :devil
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

I've never soloed, but the only time the instructor let me land I stuck it on the first attempt. Little too high, but speed and descent were right. Just touched down with about 1/3 of the runway behind me.  :o

I just thought of Dan as soon as I saw that pic.  :aok
