There is no visa for less than 90day holiday trip, i am allmost completely sure about this  :devil

And wtg, Wellcome !

I checked from immigration, and US citizen´s are free to travel to Finland with normal passport. (Exception country in Schengen list to travel to all those countries involved in the contract.)
I kinda knew that, but wanted to make sure  :salute

If you have not booked flights yet, don't forget Tampere as optional flight destination (instead of Helsinki). Tampere is much closer to the Meet than Helsinki.

sorry to disappoint but cash is a little tight,  planning on going to the Caribbean in December and it will be expensive.

Flights booked, leaving Heathrow on the Tues 11:25, arriving Helsinki 4:20pm or something like that. Having a day in Helsinki, then looking at taking the train to Tampere (unless anyone fancies giving me and wifey a lift obviously (more than willing to pay petrol money etc etc). Current plan is then to take a bus to Virrat (unless we happen to get a lift obviously).

Staying until the monday evening, to avoid having to rush back on the Sunday night. Wife and I are really looking forward to meeting you all, and having some fun.

And a swift message from the wife: I fear I will need major therapy after this trip, or vast amounts of alcohol while there or both lol, and we're flying into Helsinki to see 3 museums, and a nice train ride to Tampere. :D :D :D

If you don't get a lift from Helsinki to Virrat, I'll be driving from Tampere to Virrat on Thursday - I have a work day, but I was planning to leave around 2 - 4 pm in any case, so at least you will have that part of the trip covered (no need for the bus ride).
