I guess we just have to live with the malcom hood on all B/C models...

Did you ever fly the AH1 51B with the 'coffin" hood?  The folks at HTC listened when folks suggested the Malcom to help with the visibilty.  I think more people are apt to fly the Malcom B due to that.  It makes a difference, much as it did for real.

That's funny Guppy, I never did fly AH1, I'm sure it helps visibility. I think people would fly the B in either config, especially for the speed in MW. I think the birdcage looks cooler, less of a design afterthought. They put Malcolms on a number of Razorback Jugs too~ those are really ugly!

To answer Guppy, though, I miss the birdcage. It has a place in my heart. I wish we could have an option like the nose on the B-25C, and depending what option you take it swaps out that canopy. I'd fly the old style plenty!

Bump.

Larry's P51C skin for the P51B is definitely worthy of being rotated in game. The detail and the work put into must be noticed! Several 51B skins currently in game is so old that they should be rotated out.

Thanks plaz. Seeing as I don't play anymore and I think the squad member for whom I made this skin for doesn't either I honestly don't care is this skin ever sees the light of day.

I think quite a few people would use this skin if it were in game, especially appropriate for the BoG scenario.  I hope it gets in!
