Woo! Thanks Ranger. I had this dl'd... by far my favourite mission.

I find it refreshing to see more missions based around the war and not just the US  :P

Thanks for posting those plastic kit photos Twinboom but it is pretty much the same scheme that Jocko is planning to do. As its a Spit IXE it would be skinned as a Spit XVI for AH. I'm pretty sure now that my original scheme is from WW2 and the 1948 Osprey reference is a mistake on their part.

I'm going to submit my original Spit IX scheme TB. I've read that only 26 GIAP used the all dark green scheme on their Spit IXs. Osprey has the same profile inserted in the same book under two different headings. One says 26 GIAP 1944 and the other 19 IAP 1948, I think the 19 IAP one is wrong.

Maybe I'll do the VVS Spit V some other time, although all the Mk V slots are full now and I believe Jocko has alredy done a VVS Mk V. For now I've decided to start on a new project, the Il-2M3 needs some skins.
