Hi my name is bat and i've been binge warping on and off for the last 4-5 years. I don't warp all the time, I dont warp infront of my Squad if possible, but when i do it's uncontrolable and dreadfully painfull for those around me to see.  I thought I could handle it, I thought it wouldnt damage my score or friendships. Well it took a while but I'm ready to face my deamons. I'm an occasional binge warper and it is ruining my life. Thanks for starting this group. Do i pay at the end or when im cured?

Bat, The first step is admitting you are powerless over warping and it has made your life unmanageable.

I'm ready to admit my weakness, so i may grow stronger in time.
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

I get a kick out of the "plug pullers".  It is obvious when they are doing it, too.  I was behind a Hurri IIc who was hunting some friendly bombers and as I got near, he started warping something fierce.  He dove down and evaded me (I was in Spit9) and eventually came right back around on the bombers.  I had better E and came in on him fast from his low six and **as I fired** with him in front of me he all of a sudden destroyed me (he was the only enemy aircraft within the sec and we were 10k+ alt).  He was pointing at the bombers, he tail was pointing at me.  The only thing that could have happened was he warped BEHIND me and was able to get me with his guns.  I never saw and the buff pilot had said he was warpin like crazy but only once I showed up.

Funny, isnt it.

I think i know who you are talking about.  It is .........  When he warps, i think it maybe something eals going on.  he may be running out of memory space.  that happen to me a while back when i had only %12 memory space left over.  i was warpping everywhere, so i just dump my whole C drive.  It did the trick.

No, he even got a new computer, he just lives in an area where his internet connection routing is all messed up. I know he has tried everything to fix it . His warp is ridiculous, the worst I have ever seen in this game. So as I said he is unable to fix the problem. If he kept to himself that would be one thing but he is actively running on missions making it hard to have fair play. My point is this game does cost money. When does one guy's intrest out weigh 40 guy's. If you played MW then you know most of us just learned to deal with the warping but when it starts effecting other players game play to a point where you can't even kill his M3 running to the maproom or shoot his bombers down without him warping back into you and taking you down with no damage to him or camping a gv hanger all the while zipping all over the base I see that as not being on the same playing field. Shuffler mentioned about just laughing it off which I have done for the last 2 years but it's gone to a whole new level that has become more and more irritating. Like I said he has learned how to play with a warp which puts the rest of us at a huge disadvantage.

No such animal.

When you are far away from another object the screen updates slowly. That is why once you see a planes dot it will jump a ways at a time and not move smoothly. As you get closer the updates to the screen start getting quicker. If either person's connection has issues then one or both will start seeing more and more warp.

How would you like that to happen everytime you are behind him in level flight, he warps right back into you, happened twice yesterday in a few hours of play. Then he flew over a port directly over me with unhitable lancs at 1000 ft over my wirbel. he then dropped bombs after flying by only for the bombs to kill me. Then he just gets  a Tiger and camps the hanger at a vbase we just captured. I managed to get outta the hanger only to see his tiger on the roof, then in the indestructable, then beside the hanger all the time killing upping tanks. How the heck do you get a shot on a guy that's warpin like this? How the heck can a guy play against people like this?

Are we talking about the steady warpers or the other bunch known as "Warping on demand"? There seems to be more in the second category than the first.

if his internet connection can only handle "X" amount of info per second, and you gettuing close, then shooting, it increases the amount of info to double that....then he's gonna warp.

just learn to kill em.  i fought coda a few times in his warp-on-demand mossie. it took a bit, but i just kept turnign with him, and figured out a pattern to the warps....and shot his but down.

if they can't help it, they can't help it. .....it's not like he's a hotard, or a ace pilot.........THAT can be helped.

I do, how the heck can a tank turret follow his tank around when it leaves and returns in a different place each time. It take too many resources to kill him when it should't and cap if you fought a guy that had an advantage each time you fought him you would be posting about it as well. Just because he's in your squad I don't think you have an objective point of view.
