NVIDIA Quadro NVS 420

NVIDIA recently unveiled its newest video card which fits SFF PCs. It's the Quadro NVS 420 which can support 4 30 inch (high-resolution) displays at a resolution of 2560 x 1600. This card was designed with the office in mind by giving workers more desktop, "real estate" to work with.

Additional features of the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 420 include:

NVIDIA nView display software, which allows users to spread their work across single, large or multiple displays and maximize productivity through user friendly desktop and application management features:

Display gridlines for maximizing a user’s desktop space by dividing up the displays into multiple regions

Virtual desktops that allow users to launch applications on up to 32 different desktops

Extended Windows Taskbar spans across multiple displays so the application window buttons can be spread over multiple displays


Early reports say that the product, when released, will cost around $400.

That's from their office/graphic design line.  Probably not the best for gaming.

I was fairly certain of that from the start. Just wanted to see what others thought about it.

that is pretty slick and would be something that I would look into since I am currently about to upgrade into a new role here with product development and will be needing to look over massive CAD drawings for various vehicles that stretch a long way even on real paper.

I never use more then a single monitor for reviewing CAD drawings but this card would be nice for extra monitors to be used in scripting point editing and volume rendering (stuff like that).
