The Goose
« on: February 02, 2009, 03:27:00 AM »
The Grumman Goose is one of my favorites in FSX. It has a bad tendency to wallow around when you first enter the water upon landing and you have to be ready for it. The guy in this video isnt ready I think (how many of you have seen him in AH?)...

EDIT: I think in realisty this guy may have been taking off because his throttle is just too high for a landing.

That just made me scratch my head and say WTF?  I'm no pilot or A&P so I don't know much but it almost seems like a stuck throttle or some such malfunction.  Anyone know the story on this?
To each their pwn.

That was a takeoff attempt, not a landing.  If I remember right, and this goes back a couple years, he came upon an overhead wire that prevented taking off when he intended.
