How did Bish end up capturing 165 yesterday in orange

Just curious. Was a heck of a fight. Seems in that whole area Knits left claw marks in the wood when we dragged them away.

It was a long hard fight, wasn't it.

Timing ... and those dang long drives from the western Bish base from 165 were killing us.  Joker said, "I've had enough of this".  And yes ... gawd forbid ... up went an NOE mission into 144.  And it was close.  Real close.  The chants were long and loud ... "Denied, Denied"!  They were positively dancing in the streets ...

Town was dead though.  Joker himself upped a lone solo goon, went on a 20 minute long round about coming in from the east of 144 town and took down the "For Sale" sign while others continued to try for airspace control over 165.

Almost as soon as we got 144 ThunderEGG logged in, did his usual Greets and salutations, and announced his intent to run a buff mission into rooklandia.  Of course, it was announced what was going on and how we could use one at 165 instead.  Being a good bish he dutifully obliged and put a huge, impressive, buff and pony escort mission up while others continued for cap, an easier task now that they didn't have 144 to come in at alt from.

As the buff mission got close we had been able to mostly get control of the airspace, they leveled the base and the town, and another Joker who had just logged in was directed by Joker to run the M3, a short drive this time, from the freshly captured 144.

It took all day to finally get a cohesive attack in place, but it paid off.  <Salute> to all on both sides for a tough fight.

Thanks Sprite. That was a dirty, low down, rotten fun fight. I was thinking when I left that maybe we should hit another base in the area and 144 came to mind or we should get some buffs in on the action. Seems all that came into play. Had to leave because I was tired after having played for 8 hours and starving. Ate some grilled chicken with mash potatoes and corn. Took a short nap that lasted all night. Well from 6 pm to 2:30 am.

It's nice to know that the bish and nits are capable of this sort of thing. The MA is getting boring.
