It really amazes me,as it probably does Joker.that one cant win for losing..I dont know if it is jealousy,or immaturity in others..

 People come to the board and CRY about how the MEGA-squads are tearing down the fighting aspect of the game by running NOE's constantly..So Joker goes on to 200 and tells ALL who are on 200 where he is going,what ALT,which base,When they will be taking off...

 AND people hardly show up?Give us a break will ya guys???

 Rooks had a chance to do some AIR COMBAT,and what happened??You didnt even come defend the base...

 This is what I am telling my guys in RT..Dont worry about what crying their is on the boards about NOE's or MEGA-SQUADS,BASE-TAKING,or any of it..because once they get their way,they will be CRYING about something else..So let's do what we do to have FUN!!!DADSGUNS has even started flying in your face missions,and you know,it is true,once you start affecting their ALL-MIGHTY-EOTISTICAL-DRIVEN score,they start backing down,and stop upping..

   JOKER made a concerted effort to try and give you guys a fight,and you sat on the pot..WTG..

   A big to JOKER for trying to bring something to the table others had been crying about wanting..

  Thanks Tral,for bringing us up.Nice to see we have crept into your head,otherwise we wouldnt get mentioned...Nice to see we are making an impact on others just by having fun the way we want too..

Once.

Once is "fine".

Once is "nice".

Once is "a good start".

But we are only talking about ONCE here.

Kudos will be delivered when it's "often".

Peoples opinion will start to change when it is "common".

Respect will be earned when it is "the norm".

But once?

Don't get me wrong,  I applaud what they did.




BUT I can't help but get a huge deja vu about all this.

A few years back (4-5yrs or so) a thread similar to this one was created.

One of the large muti-wing squads tossed out a challenge for anybody to try and stop them during their squad night.

They ran a mission in the MA, announced their target, and were only met by small force (4 to 1 ish) and rolled over 'em. 

They then gloated for a week on the BBS about their "superior tactics" and such.

The following week a few more players got involved and met this squad in the MA on their squad night with them announcing the base they will attack with roughly 1/2 their numbers.  (60 to 30 maybe? 40 to 20? I forget)

The large muti-wing squad did not capture a single base that night.

They were trounced fairly convincingly.




All of this has been done before. 

Nothing about any of this is unique or new.

Not even the calling out the base beforehand bit..

And just like last time if anybody is able to mount even a "decent" defence (1/2 their numbers) they will be trounced. (just like last time)

It really is amazing how similar this thread and other recent threads are to what was happening in the community 4-5 years ago.

I find it interesting how this game tends to cycle.

And  to the Jokers for doing what you did. 
You guys dont have to convince anyone here of what we already know about many players.
No matter how you play the game people will continue to complain about "the hordes" yet actively fly in their own, or complain about "alt monkeys" and continue to come in at 25k, or complain about Noe's and also participate in them... no matter how you slice it, they want it their way by having some advantage that will not lower their score, afraid to mix it up or get shot down to re up another cartoon plane.   
There were some sensible posts and posters that continue to support this game in a positive fashion, but some of the BBS bullies opinions in here mean nothing and you can bet your further from the majority of people in this game than you could imagine. Most of the game degradation isn't coming from what is happening in the game, its coming from whats happening in here on the BBS and trying to leech into the game, well let me tell you that its not going to work.  If this is where you need to breed your sobbing alliances, have at it, for the rest of us we will keep enjoying the game.
