At one time I flew at 170 ping times and I hated it but I guess it could have not been steady. I dont remember it varying much.

I have a ping of 187. From Stockholm, Sweden to New York it is 70ms. From there it goes downhill.

US lines sucks  :D

I had a T1 that hit HTC in 6 hops.  (it was an ATT T1 that went right to Dallas)

14ms ping.

I miss that connection.

I have also used a dial-up that had a 200 ish ping and it was quite stable and very flyable.

(I have had 2-3 DSL/Cable connections that were never as "stable" as that dial-up one that were 60-90ms pings)

It is when you hit 3-500ms that "stuff" starts getting "odd".

Mine used to look like that when I lived in Houston. I was about a block away from the SBC building. On good days I would even get single digit. I could surf the web with ease and download porn in seconds. Those were the days.  :cry

What you should have done is gone to the AvA since there wasnt even anybody in there. No people = total domination and free reign to horde every base on the map! Well... by horde I mean just you... :lol

  Hey man, we can't all have the wonderful life.  If you can hold a steady 250, well you are doing damn good.  As long as it's not jumping all over the place, well then it's time to play.  I hold around a 240-275 ping.  It's when it gets erratic that I worry and start warping and all.  Then comes the "HOST LOST CONNECTION".  I always get told that it is my ISP, but I can jump on FS-X, or surf the web with no problems, after that message. 

I reckon' it's all Microsoft's fault.  :D

But then I cant get my name in lights on the front page with my 65+ milks err..... base captures each month. :)

i hate the arena cap..... worst on squad nights cause cant even get into same arena as entire squad
