It might take a bit.
I won't be able to spend too much more time on it anymore today.
There isn't much material to work with with regard to a continuous (no pulse) sound.
I threw some compression on it to squeeze the sound out, ran it through a parametric EQ and a noise gate (to isolate the sound further), put it through the time stretcher, then the rice krispies filter (to remove snap crackle & pop) and then some more compression to smooth out the sound overall.
I'm afraid that if I stretch it too much, it will sound awful. The first thing I tried was some old fashioned cut/paste action, but I couldn't grab a long enough sample to use without it sounding choppy. I'll give it some more TLC later on tonight when I can slap on my Sennheiser 'phones, so I can isolate myself from outside noise and get a better grip on it than I can with these cheap Staples junk ones at work.
I also have better software at home in the studio (a fancy word for a blocked off/soundproofed corner of my basement)
