Jolly, I fly mostly the spit 9. It suits my type of flying, a little bit of everything. I'm also in EST. The only problem is that I work the overnight shifts and arrive home sometime after 0800 hrs. So working out a time might be difficult but I'm willing to help.

There's a vast amount of information to understand just between those three websites. When I started, I took notes and practiced in the DA. I
still do this from time to time. Especially going to the DA to "knock the rust off" if I haven't flown in a while.
Some other suggestions I have is to film your fights and analyze what you did right and where you screwed up. I put on the trail feature to watch the track of my plane and my opponent. When I started, I used to go in full throttle and never let off. After several years of flying now, I use flaps, throttle control, and much better situational awareness. As the saying goes "Lose sight and lose the fight." Gun convergence and trigger discipline was another aspect I've been working on lately too.
