is there any way to change the speed of the drones in the offline arena? And what about the plane set?

What AWwrgwy said.

Check the offline missions forum, there are several different offline missions to work with.

The AI will give you more of a work out, much better for gunnery practice.

I highly recomend Baumers offline mission pack.

I fly the offline mission's I actually make my own, I use the drones for gun practice and that was the reason why I was asking.

Nope, the drones that circle around the field are fixed in speed, flight path, and type. Only HT can change those.
