FW190A8
« on: March 11, 2009, 03:33:27 AM »
I just bought a radio control FW190A8. And of course I want to repaint it before I crash it. Anybody have a link for alot of 190 paint schemes. Been searching online but havent found alot of different pics. Mostly just restored planes and various plastic models. Thanks in advance.

There are some cool examples of models here:

They often have reference details of books, urls and actual photos too, so they're a good place to start.

Good ideas with good info, most of the time.

Guys like Ian Robertson put unbelievable amounts of effort into the details on their models and most of the better modelers don't waste that time by doing it with crappy information.

For example:

This is Hasegawa's 1/32 Fw190A-8 in the markings of Rudolph Artner's "White 10", 9./JG 5 Eismeer (Norway, 1945). For reference material I relied on a photograph and color profile in Sundin and Bergstrom's "More Luftwaffe Fighter Aircraft in Profile".
