BTW it has been found in
super secret KGB archives how Luukkanen managed to shoot down so many Russian pilots in his Brewster! Turns out that the Russian pilots, confused by the odd shape or the plane, the fact Luukkanen usually was seen with a beer in his hand and had labels pasted all over the tail of his plane confused the pilots flying against him! Believing him to be flying a cargo plane of lager many refused to shoot such a precious cargo, instead tried to force him to land at their base. Even after he shot at them they felt he was justified in fighting to keep the precious liquid to himself and allowed him to leave. Those wily Fins....
