'Mission of the Month' Event (Read)
« on: March 26, 2009, 12:13:20 PM »
Ok this is to the AvA Staff. Ive been getting allot of people saying my 'Mission of the Month' Event should move to the AvA Arena. We plan on combining all Rook and Bishop MoM to make a even bigger once a month mission. In total we should have over 200 people, maybe even more. My question to you AvA Staff is: Is there any slots available for me to host my 'Mission of the Month' Event?

I talked to HiTech about this and they told me to ask you guys. And if you guys disagree who should I ask?

Oh also, we try with all our missions to have them historically correct. So this arena will be perfect to do it with.

Whatever you do don't make it on Tuesdays. When TT is up in the LWMAs it screws with the vox in AvA. Because setups change every Friday you'll have short time to make and advertise the missions. I used to make my missions to Wednesdays or Thursdays so you can make the mission over the weekend and still have a few days to let everyone know. If I were you Id try it Wednesdays around 6-8PM EST.

As Larry mentioned, Tuesdays are bad because of TT.  Monday's, Wednesday's, Friday's, Saturday's, and Sunday's are open in the evenings US time.  If you need map information for a particular time and date you can PM Oldman731, 1Duke1, Slash27, or myself.

If you wish we can add you to the AvA development forum there are several other AvA members who participate there and can discuss with you what you would like to do..

Also note there is a 200 player limit for the AvA, so if you want to bring 200 over it will be a tight fit...
