they decided to refund my money instead of replacing my 9600 GSO . so i got this

If you already got it you will soon find out by yourself I guess. It's a mid-end card from 2 generations ago so it will run AH2 fine and choke on newer titles but probably still be playable.

being a A+ certified tech doesnt make you a expert on the 100's of video cards available. i really hate to break it too ya. if you think that it does then your not as bright as your trying to make yourself be with the comment trying to poke at me. just cause its a 3850 doesnt mean its a stock 3850 as with any other card. there are many flavors of 3850's and as with the 9600 GSO's  i seen 5 different versions with different core speeds, memory sizes, and memory interfaces.  and usually i look online for scores that compair the two. be sometimes it good to ask about actually use in the field. which is why i asked.

yeah i usually use that site too but again it doesnt account for the different flavors of each type .

Yeah I didn't have a problem distinguishing the 8800 GTS flavors.

No it isn't, you proved that.    I have an 8800GTS KO that has been nothing short of rock solid.
