Is this another "if you don't agree with me, don't post anything" whine?
I don't claim to be right. I just wonder if people think through wishes or merely post "B-52" and a link. Then six replies of "+1".
I think if you want the developers to take the time to work on something, the person wishing for it should put in a minimal effort to justify why the work would be worthwhile.
You want something and think it would be a good addition, tell us and them why. Support your position. If others see a different side, or why it isn't such a priority or may not quite work the way the wisher though, then they post.
It's a discussion. I'm here to discuss.
I contend that most of the wishes are for "uber" rides. The bestest, fastestes, most biggie gunnededest things a designer ever dreamed up. Why? Because they thing a faster, more heavily armed thingy will make them better.
Look at the big picture. Is it worth the time and effort of the developer to add something new that can already be accomplished with what is already there? Will a new addition cause more trouble than had it never been added. Do you really need it in the first place?
Do you ever consider how many wishes Microsoft added to Windoze because someone thought maybe it was a good idea?
Besides, wishing for a nook is just plain silly.
