It's gonna look good!

I'm pretty excited for this patch, they still haven't announced if there will be any aircraft added to the list.  Hopefully they announce soon! :pray

Obviously, bear doesnt fly the very sexy light bomber p38, nor is he human and get those type of tendancies.

Im just wondering if I have to buy a new $3,000 computer again.

Well... there is one and only one airplane more sexy than the Spit XVI and it isnt in this game (yet). The Mustang Ia or P51 is the sexiest airplane ever made!

The new terrain would literally make a nice landscape to hang on the wall.

When the terrain gets updated, people will be printing out their screen-shots, framing them, and hanging them up in the living room.

thats not a bad idea. if you get a nice shot of you're aircraft flying or in combat it could make a nice print out. :P

You need to stop buying computers from the big sellers. A computer not meant for 3D art and/or design shouldn't cost that much.

Mine was a super-gamer back in its day for $1100, and it's still going nearly five years later.

You can make your own computer now for 800 bucks, its still a lot for some people but it sure beats buying a name brand one for 1,800 that does the same thing.

I'm not so sure the new version will be a huge extra drain on any reasonably up to date PC. Currently AH is CPU limited on most players' PCs. The video card has to sit idling a lot of the time between frames waiting for the CPU to get done with all the flight physics etc. I suspect a lot of the new version's extra workload will be done by the video card so AH will just use the available hardware more efficiently. Pyro said that people with really old PCs will have the option of a worse looking terrain so they can maintain FPS.

Not at all. All MA terrains use the same tilesets, so if you change the tileset you pretty much just have to press "rebuild" in the Terrain Editor. Maybe not even that.
