5 years, New York State Corrections Officer.

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

1.  Family Practice physician
2.  300 acre farm - 10 turkey houses (Cargill), Angus cattle and Holsteins, crop about 170 acres
3.  Real estate development (second major housing development about to come on line)
4.  Collect royalties from Organic Chemistry Flash card set I designed in Medical School and sold to a major publisher who sells to University campus bookstores
5.  Authored and sold the rights to Stanley Kaplan et al a book on applying to Med School...they still use it for their MCAT prep course

Now for you younger laddies...prior to all this I:

1.  Worked at McDonald's
2.  Bagged groceries and took them out for customers at the Air Force commissary
3.  Worked in the campus library stacks refiling books (time never moved so slowly)
4.  Worked drafting organic chemistry models for a college professor's publications
5.  Ran rats through mazes to determine the effect of CCK on their nervous systems
6.  Did western blot analysis on fruit fly DNA (found out later the chemicals i worked with weren't safe...)
7.  Used a corrosive process to make microscopic clips to hold muscle fibers for testing for a Nobel Prize runner up.
8.  Ate popcorn for lunch, top ramen noodles for dinner and saved every penny i could.... :D

I have 4 beautiful kids and a wife who have made it all worthwhile...

1. Project manager
2. Technical writer
3. Training specialist
4. Workforce efficiency/productivity specialist

Those are just some of the things I do within the operations side of the japanese gaming company I work for.  I work within the operations department for our online games.

Having worked it in the gaming industry since '95, don't think I would want to work in any other field.  not many companies let you play games and call it work.

I'm an Ink Technician at a large printing company that prints food packaging. Basically a glorified paint-mixer.  I create formulas, dispense ink, and manipulate the ink to be a very specific color on our 3 presses, which are each about the size of a house.

We print many snack-food packages (Cheeto's, Frito's, Rold Gold, loads of various Fruit Snacks, Malt-O-Meal cereal bags, etc.)  Also the plastic cheese wrappers, meat packaging, ketchup packets, etc...

In one year, our little building prints enough plastic bags to run a 5-foot wide strip around the globe 11-12 times.

I do have a degree, and I use it to some extent in my job (BA in Art).

I'm married (14 years) with a 13yo daughter, and 10yo son.

I'm a general class falconer (train and hunt with birds of prey).  I have a Jack Russel Terrier, and a German Shorthair pointer to help with that.

We raise chickens for eggs and meat, and I've got a pigeon loft full of pigeons.
