Kazaa, I take your "ghetto computer" and raise you a "shove it where the sun don't shine." My computer isn't top notch but it is enough to run this game, and now that I've made some changes actually runs great on TT. If you like fighting hordes, so be it. And I have not cried about it on the BBS either. I just agreed that I either log or go to a different arena when Titanic Tuesday rolls around.
Speaking of ghetto computer, what pisses me off the most is I worked my arse off just to get this thing. I'm only 17 years old and have had this computer for around 6 years or more. Yeah...I was around 11 when I got it. I spent 2 whole years mowing lawns, raking leaves, doing chores and other hard work while other kids my age were out playing. All because I wanted a computer. Did you have to work that hard to get yours, probably not. So when you talk about my computer it really strikes a nerve.
Now that I'm older, I still work multiple jobs <see JOBS thread> while other kids are hanging out and having a good time. I missed my junior prom this year because I had to work, and by the time I got off I was too tired to even go to the after parties. I somehow still find time to play AH, usually late at night. I can afford another computer, yes. Will I buy one, no. Next fall I will be going to college. I'm not gonna WASTE money on a new computer when this one efficiently does what I need for school work.
