Most reliable paint gun i've ever owned <S!>

Yea, it'll make you cringe. A Tippmann Prolite. I put in excess of 100,000 rounds through it over the last 15 years. I embarrassed the auto cocker crowd with my stock 14" sniper barrel and how much paint caked on it over the years. But well oiled it was. I got sand in it, shot Liquid Co2, and had three balls break, one after another, and it still kept going. It was my version of the Ma Deuce - if there ever was such a thing. And finally, on its latest anti squirrel mission - a seal finally gave way. 15 years - not bad for a gun that is 60% steel, was used as an entrenching tool and generally beat to noodles all around.

She kept my team and flag safe, and now its time for her first overhaul. May I get another 15 years out of the grand ol' gal.




And yea, i've got an A-5 - and overhauled the thing 5 times in 4 years. Not as classy as my old boom stick.

When I played PB in my younger days, about 9-10 years ago.  We used to be snobs when it came to the guns.  The buddies I played with all had auto-cockers, angels, and I owned a Bushmaster.  Not one of us had a non-electronic gun or used CO2.  Granted on that speed ball course, full auto or 3 round bursts at high rates of fire could be intimidating.  But get yourself into one of the more open fields, a good shot and strategy made a world of difference.

Bob, the guy that owned one of the fields we played at (Hillcrest in Kennan, WI - aka bum f... nowhere) swore by the Tippmam stuff for rental guns.  Their maintenance was so ridiculously easy.  Step 1) Dunk gun in water and swish around  Step 2) Dry

I spent many hours maintaining my Bushmaster.

Edit:  Googled that PB field we played at and it appears they closed it down.  I know Bob probably never made a dime off the place, probably put him in debt quite a bit.  But he loved the sport.  Did find some youtube video of some of the field.

It's been 10-12 years since I was into paintball. I quit right after the Angel first came out. But I'm still amazed at how versatile and prolific that Tippman gun is. It was awesome then and it's awesome now

 I own a Tippmann A-5 and love it! Hell, its better then my 2005 SFT Smart Parts Shocker!!! I dont have to worry about it falling apart or take physical damage from my style of playing (running, diving crawling, jumping over walls  )

I have an Evil Omen 2.0 and i never even use it, your better off sticking with a cheap tippman more reliable.
