Whenever I've been talked to about the 190A5 I've always been told to not take the extra 20mm package, and I've, personally, done fine without it. I've never taken the package and I don't really have to. Now that I think about it though, how poor ARE the extra 20mms, and how many A5 pilots actually take them over just the two cannon package?

They're not hispanos. They are, however, 20mm exploding rounds, and still each hit is much stronger than any MG fire.

I just spent 15 minutes trying to find the link to the AH lethality chart somebody put up once. I don't think I buy it entirely as accurate (more due to the way AH models ground objects than for the guns themselves) but you'd be able to compare the MG/FF to MG151/20, round for round hitting power.

Unfortunately I can't find it. Anybody else have it?

Six guns and 267RPGs per gun vs. the 8 gun 425rpg package saves a great deal more weight, as would shooting out say half of an F4U's ~ .50 cals... Considering that dumping the rifle-caliber MGs saves almost as much weight, that would be more logical.
