Chill Out
« on: May 11, 2009, 11:37:07 AM »
Hi everyone,

Let's relax and focus on enjoying FSO.  It seems like the last few months each frame ends with a cat fight over rules, what's gamey and what's not, etc.  I do like to know who scored more points, and I believe it is important for each side to do its best, but that's not why I spend my Friday evenings playing Aces High.  By now I have flown Allied or Axis in both ETO and PTO setups, so I've likely flown as a team mate or opponent for just about everyone, and so far the vast majority of you make FSO far more fun than the main arenas and make me want to come back for more.

The CM's do a good job of keeping things fair by adjusting scoring or aircraft distribution: wouldn't it be nice if accusations of impropriety were handled off-forum with the CM's so that the rest of us can just enjoy ourselves?  This is different than when a CM asks for community input on a setup.  That's asking for criticism and we do a great job of giving it. :devil

Thank you. :)

I just find it ironic that he is telling everyone else to chill out and he triple posted the fact that they needed too.   :rofl

Hey, look at the other threads today!  They're all full of double posts.  I'm the only one who made it to three though. :rock

in the last FSO a Spitfire HOed my 109 and cut it's engine. At first I was  :furious  for the man using MA Tactics, But then I was OK with it. Why? They HOed in WWII, So why not in here?

Ok if you spell the words backwards and run it through the Polish to English translator it comes out pretty clear.  So far I've been able to do his first sentence and it comes out as such:

"I like to believe I am on Gavagai's side, but I'm actually not, for instead of taking his advice and just chilling out I have chosen to make an attempt to target and in-flame some people in my second sentence"

I can hardly wait to find out what this cryptic second sentence reads!

Grammar's not there but internet translators can only do so much.

Aww c'mon guys.  Y'all know Oak suffers from smoke inhalation disorder (SID)  It removes the 'erature' out of 'literature' so all you have left is 'lit'.  Which unfortunately translates to grass fires of which there are plenty in his neck of the woods.

Grammar was never my "cup of tea".   I can take you out in the grassland and talk for hr about range ecology.  Its all part of my learning disability.  Nobody is perfect, that's why pencils have erasers.
