This is the game before the game.  Its kinda like a sprinter stretching before a race.  I get my mouse hand warmed up by pressing online, ok, quit, online, ok, quit, online, ok, quit.

Those 52 in Blue are awfully tempting!

I feel for Dale.  No matter what, he can do nothing right.

If he figured out a way to deliver beautiful blonde Swedish Massage Nurses trained in the art of all endings happy, awarded for every five kills.... someone would post a whine about it.

If I can't get in the Arena my squadmates are in, I just leave instead of choosing another.  ;)

Ditto.
If I cant get in the arena I want to get into after trying several times. I just leave as well.
I'd rather not fly at all rather then be forced to play in an area I dont want to be in.
In the last week I have yet to log on and not see Orange with more numbers then its max.
and thats pretty normal for the time that I log on
Usually by less then ten. Sometimes by more then 20. And Im not even talking about after a reset.

My honest opinion. Is either make Titanic Tues permanent. Or just set the cap limits to 400.(450 would be better) I rarely see the arena maxed out at over 400.
And let the PLAYERS decide where they want to be.

Another option would be a different setup entirely. Go back to the days of yore in another game but with a new twist.
Have a European Arena and a Pacific arena with arena specific terrains and plane sets. (Anyone remember that GORGEOUS pacific arena Fester (I think) made with the palm trees and cool colored tropical water?

Then let Titanic Tues be a merger of the two. with alternating terrains from week to week
It certainly would give Titanic Tues more meaning.
It would also give the map makers something to think about.

With all due respect.
I think the players can read it just fine. But based on the numbers I usually see in Blue.
Many are saying "NO".

....and then you'll be the 405th person to log in that night and you'll still be complaining you can't get into the arena. Also, how many do you think would log in when they could and just sit in the tower all day while they are at work to insure they have a spot that night?

The system HTC has now is not perfect, but it's the most fair of all of those suggested on these boards. Having the arenas "Euro", and "Pac" specific might work, but you couldn't have the  full out MA available at the same time. Reason being is most people will stick to what they "know", and stay in the MA style arena and never check out the others, much like the EW and MW are now.

I'd like to see them try the two arenas. I know it would "split" the population, but this might be a good way to split it. Few people might feel "forced" but I think there would be less complaining about it. It could do the job HTC needs done to try and keep the problems they see in the "high population"/ single arena down, with less feeling of being "herded" to one arena or another.

I don't see where they have much to loose trying it out. Many players are already looking at "Org" to be "Their" arena and get mad when they can't get into it, what difference would it make calling them Euro, or Pac? The plane set would be the deciding factor as to which arena you want to fly. Squads that stick with one type of plane would be in which ever arena supports that one moving whole squads into different arenas.

I'd like to see them try this, it really couldn't be worst than what we have now.

Wow I did not realize it was so bad for so many of you. I'm glad that on an extremely rare occasion that I may not be able to get in.... my squad thinks enough of me to change arenas. Guess some squads just don't care about their members these days.

That has happened exactly 0 times as I have never had a time when I could not get into any arena within a few minutes.

When I see that, I just log.  I don't fly on the other server because I like to fly with certain groups on the one that is usually full.

Unless I just want to fly, try new things etc.  Then I'll just log into the TA , take some abuse there and then log.

I tried to login at the same time apparently.... saw the same thing

as to the ENY.......... of course if you went in blue you would have 100% of members in arena...... your ENY would be 29

so you would be in an arena by yourself with nobody to fly against......... and not even able to fly a decent plane

WTFG HTC   arena caps work so well

Wow.  I mean...wow.

OTOH, there are also plenty of people who would rather not fly at all than be forced to fly some plane other than their favorite.  The game caters to all tastes.  Hey, it's your money.
