I saw a pick of a Sim pit that was  made out of metal square tubing a while back. I've searched for it and can't find it could someone point me in the direction of that pic, or who made it. Thanks

Is THIS the one you are looking for?

Try the Barnes and Akers pit,
It is relatively easy to build, and will accomidate the switch panels and one can customize it to your taste,
all it takes is a little imagination and simple wood working tools

I have lots of pictures from unassembled to fully assembled and covered.

Keep in mind it is not a motion simulator, but instead eliminates outside visual and hearing stimulus to allow yourself total immersion into the flight environment.

Here is one picture and if it is the one you are thinking of, I can post additional photos:

Thanks that the one I was  looking at 68valu. If possible do you have any plans that I could work off off and change to my specs. I like the one out of metal, there are some out there out of PVC fromhttp://www.rogerdodger.net/videos/pvc_flightsim_part2.html. Yours is what I have had in mind for some time know, and know I'm getting ready to start my project.

I'm actually getting ready to build another.
i'll keep a more detailed record of it as I build. The first one was a design and build as I went, so I didnt write measurements down.
I'll send them to you when complete.
