"considering all that is going into the next update, it might aswell be called Aces High III"

...and you know all that is going into the next update (beyond Tiffie art, terrain and possibly
water updates because... wait! Don't tell me. You are a bonified member of the secret inner
circle!

lol

Even if it were just the water and land... hell that's the whole "world" we play in.. that in and of itself would warrant 3.0.

Yowsa. I've seen folks with low expecations before but man.. Raise the bar a LITTLE
bit. heheheheh.

On the other hand given the pace of development here (let's not even bother to talk
about news releases. unless you think server outages is news) over the past few years
that I can understand how you two would think those few things would be a big deal.

It's just a graphics update. No gameplay changes. Even considering just the graphics, the game's still the same: water's still solid 2D, clouds are the same, sun is the same so far, still no weather, etc.

Cool video. Seen it. Didn't give me a woody.  It's eye candy.

Can't add to the solid points that moot brought up before I have to leave
for the day.

Do you feel the game play needs changing?

I do, and keep bumping the artillary thread.   :t
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

I did. It seemed like you didn't think much of this update because: "It's just a graphics update. No gameplay changes."

I just wondered if you thing the game play needs changing?

HTC has already let out that the new terrain, new water, new lighting system, and redone Typhoon are near ready for release. With all that (well mainly the first three) I have to agree with Wingnut.

I agree with them; it's a major update on par with the AHI to AHII update.
