Results from first FSO Jeep Race
« on: May 29, 2009, 11:29:18 PM »
Three squads participated in the event.  Arabian Knights, 13th MPG, and the 332nd for a total of 16 racers.  The race lasted 1 hour over countless hills.  Everyone had a blast.

The forst one to the finish was AKDogg representing the Arabian Knights.  The second squad there was 13th MPG by prowl3r.  Last but not least was 332nd courtesy of BigRat.

I'd like to thank eveyone for turning out for the first race.  Next one will be four weeks from now.  SheGotYa informed me that the SEA will be available so requests for race type is on the table.  I'd like to thank her for helping this little idea of mine be available for SEA.

<S> to all who raced.

Was fun. Thanks for putting it on Ak's. Tell Akdogg we want him to put that jeep in the hanger after next event. We would like to look under the hood.  :D. Well done, my guys had a good time... Tuk151 (13MPG). :salute

I can request the SEA on off FSO nights to help you. If the SEA is available we can adjust the environment and play with killshooter (if you choose to have live ammo). Give me advance notice on dates and that way I can put an advance request in for the SEA. Marshal read your posts and informed me of your race. Marshal and I run the Blitzkrieg portion of Heavy Metal Sunday and have done numerous races with jeeps, m3s, m8s and as of late a fun PT. We keep our scores like FSO logs under HMS at ahevents.org and our forum is here ...

of course I had to plug my event  :aok which runs the 1st. and 3rd. Sunday every month! We would love to have you guys join us!

Send me your ideas and I'll help wherever I can.

Thanks SheGotya.  The only thing I could request at this point would be obviously have SEA available and having a Vehicle Hangar open for jeeps and M3's.  This would be a way to get a ball rolling over the long span of "off night" FSO's.  We had three squads participating in the maiden run and hopefully more will jump in on the next run on Friday June 26.

Work schedules providing, there should be a couple of AK's at the first Sunday Heavy Metal Event.

June 26th. request was put in and as long as there is no conflicts we should be good to go. I do need a time frame for your event so let me know ASAP so I can add it to my request.

I'll have to say 2 hours in order to cover a hour to ninety minute race.
