Op Husky clarification please
« on: June 04, 2009, 09:33:37 AM »
In the objectives that were recieved, fuel burn is listed as 1.0.  On the AHEvents web site, fuel burn is listed as 1.25.

Can someone clarify that asap please?

I changed it to 1.0 in the orders. The 1.25 was a hold over from when I ran a smaller version of Husky in 2005 on a different map with different distances. Again I am erring on the side of caution here and going with 1.0 since there are larger distances involved in the 2009 version of Husky.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Ghostdancer...  You forgot to adjust it in the arena...  Fuel burn was set to 1.25, not 1.0 as you told me.

Will look into it. I don't do the setup and did send off to the appropriate person that the fuel burn was suppose to be set at 1.0

Thanks for looking into it.  It wasn't a huge factor for us, but it did force us to alter our plans on the fly somewhat.

Fuel burn was set to 1.0 prior to frame start.

It was definitely not set at 1.0 when the fields opened.

The burn rate was set to 1.00 and we flew JU88s all over that map without a problem. The tables where saved and loaded by me. Checked again 15 minutes before launch FB rate was 1.00

My bad if I am wrong.  A squaddie reported 1.25.  I didn't see it myself, so my apologies if it was 1.0.  I'm simply reporting what I was told by a squaddie, I'm interested if anyone else reports a 1.25 fuel burn.  Maybe something in the system has gone kerflewy.   :salute
