In my opinion, there is no plane that is as beautiful as the P-38.  It's like that really hot chick that lives next door that you know is just a wildcat in bed.

(Image removed from quote.)

ack-ack

I love 38's also and have to say this is an awesome skin.

I usually fly the Itsy Bitsy II skin but if we had this one in the game I may switch to that!

What a beauty.  Too bad some of the specific cues are wrong on the AH model:  The intake shape (ours looks more like a D9 rather than a ~K4 shape), and the tail... The tail is supposed to have those straight lines.  The tail section is a slightly rounded rectangle, not an ovoid, and is a straight profile, not a curved slope like e.g. the Mossie.

Not vaguely rounded like ours.  All it would take is moving a couple of vertices around.... No change in performance budget.

Gotta go with this one:

She's big, she's blue, and you can't deny just how slick the gull-wings look. Especially get one that's been sitting out in the sun, is dinged, battered, and oil-streaked. I can't think of any other aircraft that just LOOKS more like a battle-hardened, grizzled Marine.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Too me the F4U-1 birdcage is the best looking corsair of the bunch.

The 109 is also a beautiful plane.

Like Corky, I think the early P38's are quite sexy

For modern planes I would have to go with the F-14

My criteria for best looking plane are pretty simple. When I step out on the TARMAC, where are the HANSOME beast,
that with out a word say come and "Fly Me"!

The B-25 is beautiful and rugid.

The Warhawk is just flatout HANSOME.

The Mustang is Fantastic!

The Corsair... I rest my case.

I get you swareiam, I really do know what you mean. But what I'm wondering is how the spitfire looks deadly unless you know what it's packing? I mean the Jug looks just plaind mean in addition to looking powerfull and buxsom. The Mustang looks fast, sleek, and deadly, and the german planes look like real brusiers. The spit on the other hand, looks kinda docile and harmless.
