Summer time Blues!
« on: June 11, 2009, 01:51:11 AM »
Is it just me are does everyone notice that the last few weeks have been tough in the MA, I can take the Ho's and the being jumped but I bet I have been rammed more in the last few weeks then ever before. They come in hot and if they miss the shot they just run into you, what in the world is going on. And since when did this new defensive move start where it seems they just jerk the stick all over the place, and I learned if you wait a second they just level out and fly straight because you know they move the stick to fast. Sheeewwww tough summer so for................

I got rammed for the first time yesterday in like 4 months. I really think it's because I can avoid it instead of flying in a straight path into the fighter.

Had a guy today in a p-47 moving his stick up and down. When he moved it up, the plane would immediately point straight up. Then he'd point it down and  would do the same thing. Was like it just changed directions in a fraction of a second. After about 10 or more of those he finally gave up.

Been seeing lots of big time NEGATIVE G and bomber/fighter bail crap too.

Oh, and AKAK runs from co alt to slight advantage fights now.

I think nearly every collision Ive been in, started out with a slight intention to HO the other guy, possibly changing my mind at the last second but was too late.

Well I went to my congressman

... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

I completely agree with you Cajunn.  For example, yesterday I was rammed every flight yesterday except for 1.  That 1 that I didnt get rammed was the only time I got to land.  Wasnt even just getting rammed from the front or back of the plane but I was actually getting rammed from the side.  I figure a lot of these had to be intentional because shots werent even fired.

Hmmm...  My experience of the last few days has been quite the opposite.  I seem to be finding kills to be much easier to come by...

Bummer Cajun...maybe it will balance out. I've had a few  try to HO me... that's the norm now... no collisions yet this month(knock on wood).
Except for the late nite alt tards, I've had no trouble finding fights. I haven't been shot down yet this tour; guess I've been getting all the good luck and you the bad.    :salute
