Well it is a unique design that is for sure, as far as combat it is testimonial but I have read reports ehere it did get some action.  As far as a perk fighter only on the basis of rarity.  Besides that it would be meat in the MA I would think.

AG, it had top speed around 763 km/h at 21,325 feet. So when flown properly it would be more like a meat eater...

I would love to fly this plane in AH but it never reached operational units. There has been discussion if it ever saw action with the evaluation unit...

A quote from "The Big Show" by Pierre Clostermann. To whit: "...An aircraft became visible at tree-top level, approaching rapidly. A curious one, which I couldn't identify. He saw us only at the last moment, because we were just below the cloud base, in the shadows. He broke very quickly and for a moment I had a very full view of him. He was obviously a Jerry - he had black crosses on the wings - but what an odd sort of bird!
Throttle full open, I tried to cut inside his turn, but he was moving astonishingly fast. Longley was better placed, and fired at him, but without effect. The strange aircraft completed his turn, and flew off at full speed. He really was an extraordinary looking customer..."

Of course the plane Clostermann describes could have been any other rarely seen german fighter...I just think that if the aircraft in question would have been jet propelled he would have mentioned it in his book, right? So maybe it was Ta-152 for example...or maybe...

Useless trivia:

The Do335 had the first operation ejection seat.

He219 had ejection seats earlier, even used them in combat on several occasions.

most test pilots of the Do335 said, it was wonderfull to fly.
turnrate was not as good as 190 had. but for
it's huge design, still good.

The He219 had the same ejection seat system didn't it?

One question what was the fire power of these seats?  How many hits did it require to take down a bomber?

Unfortunatly I don't think it ever saw service, it would be a great plane in the MA equpied with 2x15mm Cowl mounted MG and a spinner mounted MK103 30mm gun with 70 shells.
Top Speed was 474Mph.
The pilots who flew it said it was very manuverable, can only take their word for it.

I think there is one in a museum somewhere but I am not sure, does anyone know?

Do-335 located at the Garber facility at the NASM in Silver Springs Maryland.  Also have a HE-219 Ju-388, GO-229, Ar-234 and many other unique aircraft.

I seem to remember reading that it had a very weak nose gear. I'd love to fly it in AH.

As far as I know and can remember from reading various books and articles over the years; the German ejection seats were propelled by compressed air.
