The next time you update your squad it will be
required that you have a minimum of
three contacts. We prefer four, but for now three will do.
If you don’t have three contacts for the FSO communications and CiC orders that are to be passed to your squad then quite frankly out of luck.
Many squads already have 3 or 4 contacts. Those squads are fine, but any squad that does not update their squad with 3 or 4 legitimate, valid, working e-mails by the Aug FSO will be removed from the FSO roster.
Any new squads that sign up will also be required to have 3 working e-mails.
Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but 68Falcon expressed concerns about squads not having enough contacts in the past several months. Inevitably someone has a death in the family, a family illness, away on vacation, having to work, computer problems, Internet down, etc. You get the idea. With only two contacts it is not sufficient insurance for an event that hosts 500+ on a Friday. Of course by the time I am done it may be more like 400,
but I would rather have a smooth running FSO with 400 than late orders and passing off the CiC orders every other week.
My apologies to any squads that this proves to be a hardship. Nevertheless we need excellent communications between squads, objectives sent out by the Admin CM, and finally the orders by that weeks CiC.
This is just one more step to keep people from dropping the ball and not handing it off to someone else in their squad.
