Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

I am curious as to whether any more new vehicles or aircraft were added...

Wouldn't it be much easier to read the release notes instead of asking on the forum?

They didn't mention the TA-152 when it was updated in the release notes...

:salute Salute to HTC for being detail oriented.

There is a list on the Home page. My personal favorites:

“Added the Finnish Brewster B-239."
"Added the I-16.”
New planes!  New, slow planes.  New, slow planes to dodge Typhoons in.

“Weapons from a previous sortie that are still in the world are destroyed when you start a new sortie. Vehicle supplies are excluded from this.”
Un-gamey.  So, are Attack Mode base captures going away?

“Changed arena configuration to allow more airplanes to be seen with high detail updates.”
“Fixed a bug in the explosion collider that would apply damage to the opposite side of the explosion.”
“Fixed a bug that would allow vehicles to spawn on airplane spawn points using the .fly command.”
“Reduced the specular properties of ships.”
No clue what any of these mean.  They sound interesting.

“Changed automatic ack to fire in bursts, adjusted firing rates.”
Now, may be able to fly between ack rounds?

“Fixed a bug that allowed LVT’s to spawn onshore when the CV was a certain distance offshore.”
No dry spawning?  This is huge.

“Changed port object to remove the sea wall.”
With the no dry spawn fix above, this will make port captures different.

“Fixed a bug in the ship guns that allowed a quick second shot when switching ammo types.”
“Fixed a bug in vehicles that instantly reloaded the tank gun after rearming.”
Anyone else feel like a chump for not ever exploiting these?

“Rapid use of the enter key while typing into the text radio no longer results in premature ejection.”
I usually just think of baseball…

Changes from previous release

    * The terrain texture system has been completely redesigned and updated. If your video card is incompatible with certain features, those options will be grayed out and unselectable.
    * Changed the default installation path of new installations to c:\HiTech Creations\Aces High. Patches will default to wherever you have the game installed.
    * Anti-aliasing and vertical sync can now be controlled from the AH video setup screen IF those two settings are set to “Application Controlled” in your video card’s 3D settings.
    * Game video resolution now defaults to the highest supported resolution.
