Depends on which version, as the F2A-2 was very well-liked by its pilots. The one that actually saw combat and that we SHOULD get is the F2A-3, which was significantly heavier, although it had a more powerful engine (not enough to offset the weight increase, however). The F2A-3 and overwheight British exports (B-339E, I think) were the two that earned the Brewster its poor reputation (granted, the circumstances helped, too). The Dutch export wasn't as overloaded as the US and British versions. She just got overwhelmed by sheer numbers.
