Mob rule seems to be the main dish of the day in here.When a player that is not considered a noob puts a new twist on an old thread such as:"The Spit sixteen has a great advantage at 10,000 ft and should have a perk" then that usally attracts somewhat of a debate. On the other hand, a newb posts "Perk the Sixteen cos I keep being killed by them" attracts the mob like sharks. The vast majority on here do not know how to reason or want to reason, Instead, they fall into the mob, and it's the mob that tends to hold sway over what is deemed acceptable or not.
Value judgements tend to be made on an Inter-sugjective basis and then if anyone posts a counter-argument then again, mob rule takes over. A newb posting on a subject tends to lean what one defines as a "false dilemna"- a dismassal of an arguemnt based on who said it. Until such times that we hold each other to higher standards, then Mob rule will continue to prevail.
