Maybe. I was thinking about having a light rain, like a mist almost, and a dusting of snow. We should also have it so the terrain changes with the seasons (normal for summer, late spring, and early fall; snowy for LATE late fall, winter, and EARLY early spring with a light rain, and some brown grass with just a bit of green for spring and fall.)

Why is it that when ever weather is brought up people always say it would be unflyable? No where in the OP did I see him asking for white outs and hurricanes.

What people want is,

light rains
fog
cloud layers that aren't one inch thick
snow
wind
turbulence


not

blizzards
tornadoes
hurricanes
hail storms
armageddon

what kind of weather do you have that would make armageddon standards?

im guessing meteor shower.

My guess is Volcanic eruptions, Hurricanes, Black holes, Anarchy, crappy techno, locusts, cats and dogs literally falling from the sky, and lets not forget the 40 day flood, Im sure looking forward to it.

Well hunters try to control bird populations but the problem is with song birds, I believe they are illegal to shoot... in every state, they are your problems, come dove season and pheasant season the # of black and white will be cut by about 60%

NO ice storms. The point of this thread is to GET weather, not guarentee that it will never reach the arenas.


Can the administrators incharge of adding things to the games tell us if we can get:

1-light rain
2-light snow, or a dusting on the ground
3-some wind, and moving weather fronts (would cover about 6 bases)
4-fog near the coast and by water in the morning
5-some decent cloud layers that let you hide in them
6-some turbulence

I guess grizzly bears just don't cut it anymore.  Well, if that won'y do it, how about some Cracken in the sea!  You know, that giant octopus that devours both man and beast, well, let's render it and have it pound the heck out of the CV's! 

Imagine trying to defend against something like that, it could just lift up a ship and throw it around like a rubber ball.  Not only that, but it would have to have some sort of hilarious death sequence to warrant the effort of bringing it down.

Here's the idea:

1. You see the eyes at about 15k away

2. You realize that you're screwed, and run for the hills


And along that "messin' with sasquatch" idea, how about "calling in cracken", in which you drop pieces of fish into the water, and cracken comes racing to the ship.  And maybe, just maybe, it will join your fleet as the most powerful  ship ever made, and make those stupid PT noobs wish that they were never rendered.
