FSO Schedule for 2009
« on: August 03, 2009, 08:41:20 PM »
Gents,

This is not written in stone. Admin CM’s may change their year and theater due to the availability of terrains, new aircraft, or other factors. Nevertheless I wanted to give squads a heads up on what we have coming till the end of the year. So I asked the Admin CM's to let me know what they had planned. Come Thanksgiving I will post up for the first 6 months or so of 2010.

This should help squads manage their requested sides since they know what is coming. For example say we have a squad that loves flying North Africa Allied. That squad could then request Axis for October which would help their chances for getting Allied come November. If it does change then I apologize right now, but what you see below is a pretty safe bet if you wanted to plan ahead.  Enjoy. :) :salute

    * August (Stoney)-Pacific Theater 1945
    * September (Squire)- Eastern Front 1942
    * October (ghostdancer)-European Theater Battle of Britain 1940
    * November (Baumer)-Mediterranean North Africa 1941
    * December (Stoney)-European Theater 1945

Thanks for the early head's up.

Luftwobble guys are gonna be happy.

That's what happens when one airforce is the main 'bad guy' for an entire half of a war.
It's like saying, 'guys who like to fly American planes will be happy'. :) Although we have two coming up where American air forces were not particularly active...
It nice that the Luftwaffe pretty much only used two fighters though, so no matter what we get to fly our favorite plane :) A price we pay for variety.

I can't wait to finally have an Eastern Front FSO again. Are we looking at the German or the Finnish front?

That's what happens when one airforce is the main 'bad guy' for an entire half of a war.

And when the OTHER main bad guy is represented by half its major aircraft....

I would hope something like Leningrad so we can have both German and Finnish aircraft versus the VVS.  Otherwise we don't have aircraft like the Blenheim, M.S.406, and P-36, and the number of missing aircraft on the Russian side is just staggering.
