Who cares?  Have we really been reduced to delight at flickering images with pretty colors? :P

That's pretty much what a movie is...or Aces High, for that matter. :D

I am not sure how many other people have seen the advertisements about this "230" thing but it has me really interested.
....Any ideas?

I think I read somewhere that they'll release the details in 2 weeks!

Its the ad for the upcoming Ford Volt which allegedly gets 230 miles per gallon of gas.

of course.. the car uses electricity for 40 miles then switches to the gas engine so those 230 miles are... subject to interpretation.

Oh.. and $40k price tag. All the 'savings' you'd get by using this car are spent upfront just buying it. Lol I swear I dont understand the retards that buy these 'green' cars.

if it has  $40,000 ride, interior and workmanship, then theres no problem...if its a diddlying dressed up cavalier, then its a problem.

If I plugged in, I would imagine it would mostly come from the nuclear power plant (the infamous Three Mile Island) that is so close to me you can see the steam coming from the cooling tower most days :)

So if you drove a plug-in electric vehicle, you'd have a real nukulear powered car.  Kool :)

I was just a few dozen miles away in West Chester, PA when all that went down.

That was the first time I remember reading the newspaper as a kid, because I wanted to.
