Saitek x52 and CH pedals
« on: August 06, 2009, 02:35:38 PM »
Good combination?
I'd love to get a full CH set up but can't afford to dish out that much cash at once.
Are there any quirks I should know about setting this all up?
I used to fly a Logitech Extreme 3d pro (which has finally crapped out after a good 3 years of service) so I already am expecting a harsh learning curve when it comes to learning how to use the pedals correctly.

Also, some pointers as to how to make the transition from twist stick to pedals would be great too!

You should be able to set up this combination without any trouble.

To get used to the pedals, basically just need two things: Practice & patience
(And fly without shoes. Yes, I'm serious about this)

You'll be surprised how quick you get used to them. In one week you'll wonder how you did it without them so long.

I 'acquired' some new slipper socks (socks with grippers on the bottom) from work for my rudder pedals. You can find them pretty often at the $1 stores in the areas...
