Man the kite is beautiful! WTG HTC!

Hehe, after a  steep dive and at 500mph IAS she rolls like and maybe better than a Focke-Wulf. Absolutely no cmpression (like PYRO said, tho).

Great fun to fly till HTC will fix her FM (I hope). I dont want another WB2.0 monster here. Correct me if I'm wrong.

it has also VERY impressive Zoom capabilities .. zoomed from F1 (10feet agl, 5000Ft MSL) at 400 iAS WEP on with a 2.5G pull up into the vertical ..kept going till speed was around 65-70 IAS , chopped throttle and performed hammerhead turn (don't even used differential throttles) with  full right rudder and a tad of aileron into the turn... wet around smooth no signs of stall
now figure the alt.. top of the zoom climb was 11000 Feet MSL!

I really do hope we get compressability soon or this thing will be a mjor headache in the arena...

Yes Duckwing,

I think it is all in her primitive FM. The climb rate isnt impressive at all. So, IMHO this P38L flies [in the vertical plane] with very poor or no "skin friction".

PYRO said something about "no compression" so far for the Lightning. BTW the graphic is beautiful and, even if tweaked, she will be a formidable foe in the future.

... she will be a formidable foe ...

As she should be!

But, don't despair, I'll be flying her, too, so at least one of the P-38 icons will not be too dangerous and will offer an easy kill ...

She was a formiable foe, but as mentioned, without her flight model complete, she's a threat to every A/C in the main arena.
