Freshmen are just as bad. They just stand there in the halls, flapping their gums and chewing their gum as if they were prized cattle. Been late thanks to them twice this school year.

im a sophmore.....

God i remember those days, YEARS go!!!

My freshman year was when 9/11 happened!! Ill never forget that day!! Sitting in Algebra I listening to my teach ramble on about how A2+B2=C2 n all that non-scene and then my Principal comes on and tells us what happened and then that we are to report to our Homerooms immediately after 1st period.  Lucky for me, if you can call it that, my homeroom was the library so i got to sit there and watch the horrors of 9/11 and the towers fall live on CNN! Ill never forget the rumors that were spreading around that car bombs were going off in Washington DC and how Russian and Chinese troops were landing in force along the Western coast and what not!!  Thats a day i will remember for as long as i live and well tell to my grandchildren in the future!!

God bless America n let us not forget the horrors of 9/11

Sorry didnt mean to hijack my own thread but reading about how these kids are Freshman and sophomores made me thing about my time when i was their age and the things that had happened!

Yep. My two older sons started yesterday. Zachary, my youngest at nearly five years old, seems grateful for the break from competing with his brothers. Kyle (my middle kid at eight years old) wants to play Aces High so badly, so there's motivation for him to do his best in school. Joseph, the oldest at 10... well, we'll see how he does in fourth grade..... again.

<S> to you!  I've got three sons also (15, 13, 11).  Sons are fun, eh?

I'm disappointed this year that school is starting. We had a fun summer.  It could have lasted another 2 or 3 months.  Oh well, it'll be around again next year before you can blink.

Yes, a good deal freshman think they are the greatest thing ever and have a cocky little attitude that does not fit their age at all. It seems as the years go by, I find each class becoming less and less mature and not nearly as capable as adapting to the mediocre standards of high school as their predecessors.

Could just be my imagination though!
:aok
I second this. I'm a Senior and the maturity levels drop as the years go by. Never really understood that.
