The difference between about 50 people testing the beta, and an entire customer base playing is completely beyond your comprehension.
How dare you even suppose what may or may not be beyond someone's comprehension. You have no idea what anyone does or has done outside of your little fiefdom!
Purely from an IV&V standpoint (look it up if you need), the test scripts were piss-poor, the staggering variety of client systems may have been considered but were, for the most part, ignored, system loading and demand were not simulated, among other gross inadequacies. Shall I go on?
Your customer support has been outstanding! And Skuzzy, in particular, has been without parallel. Those of us who know the hassles of running and developing a system like this understand the resource intensive nature of testing new developments, and that an organization of your size, as a matter of course, must use your client base as the test bed and tackle the issues on the fly.
What does no one any good is the boss taking anything on his forums personally and lauding an "I Am the Creator" mentality for all to see. It does nothing to solve the problem. It only antagonizes customers who are not completely satisfied and alienates other customers.
Or should I just tell you that, since the latest update has a few glitches, some of your clientele are being unreasonable, and you have seen fit to belittle them from your all-powerful perch, the principles of software testing, customer service, and public relations are totally beyond your comprehension?
