Well, the "no help from me" bit seems a little tantrumish, don't you think?  And if he's so damnned superior, why do you need to defend him?

Why would you give up being a "sucker for sluts", as Karaya says, to jump in this dog fight?

You aren't familiar with the "mystique of NB".   He can have three chicks in tow, but the next minute................

For days I've read this thread vowing to not comment.  I lied.  No will power.

All in all...myself being a long time MMOG flight Sim participant since AW then directly to AH with a shot hop at WB in between.

This post is nothing more then the many whines I've read on these boards for years.  Just a different name making the post.
They've generally blamed the game somehow for poor gameplay or their inablility to get the game to function on their PC properly.

In response to the statement that the long time players are leaving in droves. Uh...don't know where he got that info but as a long time
player, as is my squadron...we're still here.  As a matter of fact many long time players have returned!  Ripsnort for one is back and in
our squadron...and I've seen many faces and friends in the friendly skies now that I've not seen for quite some time.  That means the
majority of the people I fly with have been here around 10 years ( my squad).

During the years I've been here we've been through many Betas.  You might notice that the gents that have been here that amount of time
do not make posts whining about an upgrade.  We know better from experience.  One fault some of us who have been here awhile noticed
was that not many people participated in the last Beta.  The Beta for AWII was loaded with participants for two reasons.  One was
gameplay!  No score, great fights, cold merges etc. And two, the most important one...we actually tested, posted any comments we had
on the Beta, posted problems we might have had, posted Dxdiags if we did have problems and helped one another as a community to solve
these problems.  Instead with this Beta, I've seen more insulting, whining, and sorry to add idiotic posts about people and the game.
Batfink and I had some great fights in Beta...testing the new aircraft, monitoring FR while fighting etc.  Any problems I had I posted.  And
I posted in many topics for two reasons.  For those not playing Beta...Warning...there are a few problems with the Beta...are you participating?
And two...to see if it was a widespread issue.  (Because people weren't playing Beta)

Here is fact.  HTC always has made the fixes needed to make the game playable for as many as possilbe.  We know that.  So you won't see
a whine coming from our direction.  Another fact.  At some point in time you WILL have to upgrade your PC.  Just as autos need replaced so
do certain components of a PC.  Time marches on.  8088s will not play Aces High.

For instance....I asked that when the Beta is over if HTC would be so kind to see why those of us who have Crossfire can't use it in the game.
We get a response on the BBS from Pyro stating that he has set up his machine for Crossfire and HT will have a look when he has time.
Guess what??  Crossfire is enabled now.  Now....if that isn't an indication of what HTC does to satisfy its' player gamebase I don't know what is.

Also....the request I made...its' context was the key.  Understanding that there are larger problems then running crossfire was the key.
Making the game better for as many as possible was.  Crossfire was secondary in importance.  But guess what..it now works.

So....have patience!  The game will be playable again for most!  Maybe a few might have to upgrade a vidcard, turn down stuff, who knows.
But as it has always been in Aces High, the game will be playable.

And...Use a little common sense and courtesy when posting a problem!  It will be addressed.

Read and comprehend before you call yourself an adult!  I have been very careful not to express an opinion on the OP.  Respond to me when you have a clue what I was talking about.  Or is it more important to see your name in lights than to make a salient point?

I've read every single one of your posts. Point in fact, your last post in reply to me which is quoted above. Your knee jerk reaction is as bad as what you're claiming HT's was. Your overstuffed opinion of yourself uses the same erroneous judgment about HT's responses as the OP. Every post you have made regarding HT's response has been visibly in support of the OP's rant regardless of whether you see it or not, and it's obvious your self image is so bloated you don't see it.

Good luck with that.

Oh, so your problem is comprehension.  Go back and try re-reading my posts without projecting your underlying rage, born of the inadequacies of having a small noodle, into my missive, and perhaps you will realize that I am merely trying to counsel against using the type of vitriol that only degrades the discussion.

And good luck to you too, sir.
