Excellent job on the antennae wires and the cowl guns!  Those two areas always vex me when I try to build 109s.

What kit is that?  Tamiya, Hasagawa, or Fujimi? Or a mix?

Looks good, nice paintwork!!! Some ppl like the super clean look.. I prefer the slightly used look myself...
A little mud on the tires, chipping of the paint around engine cowling, ammo/gunbays, access ports...
Blast burning around the gunports, blah blah... LOL!!
Looks good tho!!! :aok

Beautiful job!  :salute

I noticed the external stiffeners near the tail.  Is this a kit of the F-1 or the F-2 version?

Ah Ha!!! A keen eye.I added the braces myself with some plastic card stock. The Kit is a 109F4.I have seen this plane listed as both an F-3 and F-4.In pictures of the aircraft you can see the tail braces. There also is no external armored windscreen on the plane. From what I have read the early F-4 had the same fit as the F-3.So it could be either one.Its work number is 7205.I dont have any referance to all the work numbers but maybe someone here does.

GeShill.....it is a Hasegawa kit 1/48 scale

Maddafinga....If you dont get a reply from the site within a few days let me know.

I am going to make sure the next plane I build is one that sat outside had little to no maintenance and looks like it was pulled out of a swamp <G>

Thanks fellas!

Ok, got in and am reading the thread now, pretty cool stuff! Thanks for the link Moot.

Also, as an aside, I didn't know about that forum at all.  I wasn't on any boards when I was in AW and for the few camps I was here after AW died.  Then I was off for about 9 years, so this is all pretty new to me.  I didn't know that other forum even existed until just now.  Cool stuff!
