If you can break a whine glass with your voice, you're a squeaker.

A year and 4 months I think.

I see other people around my age that are way under my maturaty level. Its funny, im not gonna name anyone but it is kinda hard for me to belive that they are just a year or so younger than me.

It depends on if the voice has the ability to break glass AND the attitude of the pilot.

Haha, really?

I am only 15 but everyone I talk to says I sound like I'm in my 20s or 30s.

I'll vouch for Spikes  AKA MstWntd     his voice at 15 yrs old is deeper than mine at 41.     He is not a squeaker by any stretch of the imagination.

If you're younger than I am, I consider you a squeaker.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

Im 14, i have been called a squeaker before but most people think i am more mature. So my question is, Are all teenagers squeakers? I know some other  people who are deffinatly not squeakers but still young. Why do people think all teenagers are squeakers?
P.S.- Feel free to call me a squeaker.

I think that there are two real uses of the word squeaker- one as a purely empirical observation ('Wow thank god for squelch, freakin' squeakers') and as a purely derogatory term, insinuating that, whether or not you have a painfully high voice, that you act immaturely/childishly enough that you could be mistaken for a stereotypical member of that age group (generally up to 12-13) regardless of whether or not you've heard the persons' voice or know his real age (which would in this situation would generally not be 0-13).
I'll say that usually if you get called a squeaker you deserve it...
In this way I think the use of this word is somewhat similar to other words used in daily language that are not necessarily appropriate for this board... :)

Ok i get it. Its just a term used to insult someone. But it isnt bias if they are young or not. And it differs between people with annoying voices to people who complain about several things.

Haha, really?

I am only 15 but everyone I talk to says I sound like I'm in my 20s or 30s.

Hey look at me, i"m spikes and I can sound older then I really am!  :lol

just playin mate  :salute

Let me add in here as well,

Naturally for most of the older guys around here, the guys who "think", and mostly are mature, always feel that kids/teens are annoying are annoying because of one of 3 things, or any combination of the three: There voice is annoying/high pitched, they are absolutely clueless ("how do i start ma plain" kinda kids, not exactly bad but those who know what there doing find them annoying), and the ones that feel like they are better then anyone else and will order people around and just generally act "childish".

I used to be one of those kids, probably still am, especially with the clueless/high pitched voice thing  :lol

squeakers stop being squeakers when they can gain the respect of their "peers". It took me over a year to develop trust and respect within the people I now call my friends in game, as well as my squad members. I have seen numerous comments regarding how I can handle myself as a person and how "well" I treat others, something I deeply appreciate  :salute

Be respectful to your peers and you will see that respect given back to you.

If your voice makes my ears bleed and the cat howl then you are a squeaker.
