Not going to comment on your visuals, but rather your choice of target and title -

If a 38 is a twin engine monster... shouldn't it be shooting down some single engine monster rather than another 38?  :lol

You missed it. The other P-38 is a midget.

Quite an eye sore.  Find some tutorials on general photo effects.  I'll edit the post with some.

I like it Ghost.  Different from what we see posted here, and far from a Sore Eye.

Ok, could not edit my first reply so here.

1. List of different tutorials, some good and some odd....

2. Very helpful site!

Now... I know not everyone has PS. (i do not)  If you dont, you are probably asking why did I post just PS tutorials?  Well because most PS tutorials can be brought into GIMP.(the program you most likely are using)  If you need any help with this just PM me and I will walk you step by step on how to take the steps from the PS tutorials and use them in other programs such as GIMP.  BTW Mathis, you know as well as I do that what he posted is pretty common.

I'd like to see similar then. IMO it's a great angle, and nothing I've seen lately is very similar at all.

Hey Ghost,

not an eyesore imo, just falsely depicted.

You're calling it a monster but your choice of skin color, and font on the lettering makes it look more like a beauty; rather than a beast.

Main thing is to not show the plane you are glorifying also being killed... :lol

Something historical would fit nicely in its place - say the 38 downing a Zeke or Ki84 etc.
